Random Pizza/Juice Post…

Just wanted to post these I had in my photo folder. I really need to keep up with all my photos. These were the last of the pita pizzas and a random juice thrown in from last week. Enjoy!

This whole wheat pita pizza consisted of :

  • whole wheat pita
  • drizzle with extra virgin olive oil
  • eggplant
  • carrot
  • corn green pepper
  • mushrooms
  • real mozzarella

Bake in an oven at around 400 degrees for about 10-12 minutes. Eat!

This one was to die for!

  • leftover roasted garlic, minced
  • leftover grilled artichoke, chopped
  • drizzle of extra virgin olive oil
  • real mozzarella
  • portabella mushrooms
  • herbs from my garden(basil, oregano)
  • some chicken pieces
  • onion
  • carrots

Bake at 400 degrees for about 10-12 minutes. Eat with a smile!

So, this was a random juice served up around lunch time. I had a lot of fruit that had to be used, so I did it with another juice. It was super yummy.

Recipe in the juicer:

  • 1/2 of a small seedless watermelon
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 mango
  • 1/2 orange
  • 1 kiwi
  • 1 pear

This made about 24-30 oz. and was full of antioxidants, natural sugars, vitamin C, E, K and an abundance of minerals.

About inpursuitofrealfood

I am a real health conscious food lover always in pursuit of real, great food! My journey began way back around 2000 when I realized it was time to grow up and eat better. Fast food was not cutting it and staples I grew up on such as burgers and spagetti were getting old. I also began trying a new diet experimenting with what I ate and how I felt as far as energy levels and keeping my skin clear. Since then it has been a rewarding journey in the kitchen trying new fruits and vegetables and tons of fantastic new recipes.
